Adult students at NSCC to benefit from AT&T Aspire

AT&T recently awarded Northwest State Community College a $15,000 AT&T Aspire contribution. The college will be utilizing its funding to provide much-needed financial assistance to 5 adult students who have completed at least 12 credit hours apiece at NSCC.

State Rep. Rob McColley joined AT&T for the announcement of the funding. He praised both Northwest State and our company, saying the financial assistance could have a lasting, positive impact on talent retention and workforce development in the area.

NSCC students and faculty provided guests at the Oct. 16 AT&T Aspire announcement with a demonstration of some prosthetics that students have been working on, using a 3-D printer.

AT&T’s signature philanthropic initiative, AT&T Aspire, drives innovation in education — through technology, social innovation and relationships — to ensure all students have the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
