AT&T Supports Computer Science Showcase at Statehouse

AT&T and Nextech recently hosted the first ever K-12 Computer Science Showcase at the Indiana Statehouse.

Middle and high school computer science students from around Indiana convened under the dome to showcase their web, app or computing device successes they created during the school year. Gov. Eric Holcomb, state legislators and tech leaders attended.

Computer Science Showcase participants talk with Gov. Eric Holcomb, second from right, and AT&T Director of Government Affairs Steve Rogers, far right.

Alongside the showcase, legislators and policy leaders also participated in the “Hour of Code,” a challenge to give individuals an introduction to computer science that has become an annual celebration, as well as a global learning and awareness event.
