Broadband connectivity is critical in the modern economy to end the digital divide

The following statement is attributed to AT&T Ohio President Brad McLean concerning State of Ohio broadband investment proposed February 1, 2021.

“Governor DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Husted are right broadband connectivity is critical for participation in the modern economy. There are multiple barriers contributing to the digital divide – from adoption, availability and affordability to digital readiness and training. We look forward to learning more about this budget proposal and working with the Governor, Lieutenant Governor and all stakeholders with the goal of ending the digital divide.”

Brad McLean is president of AT&T Ohio with responsibility for AT&T’s public policy, philanthropy and community relations initiatives throughout Ohio.
