In wake of floods, AT&T donates $10,000 to the Grow Quad Cities fund to support the disaster relief efforts

Last month, in response to historic flooding in eastern Iowa and western Illinois, AT&T donated $10,000 to the Grow Quad Cities fund to support the disaster relief efforts of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce.

AT&T External Affairs Director Dustin Blythe said, “As a member of the local business community, we are proud to contribute $10,000 to the Grow Quad Cities Fund to aid in the recovery effort and help businesses get back on their feet.”

At the check presentation ceremony Paul Rumler, the President and CEO of the Quad Cities Chamber, praised AT&T: “Our business community was hit hard by the flooding and clean up and repairs are extensive. We are fortunate so many residents and businesses such as AT&T have generously contributed to aid in recovery.”

On hand to celebrate the contribution included local elected official Senator Jim Lykam as well as local AT&T employees.
