Our South Bend Pioneers have been spreading holiday cheer again this year.
Pioneers from up north just wrapped up their participation in the 2017 U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Through this program, the goal is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as holiday gifts to less fortunate children in our community. The Reserve aims to spread a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters, assisting them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
The Pioneers collected donations primarily at their garages and distribution center in South Bend in October and November, and when their efforts concluded, they dropped off 450 toys, 9 bicycles and a $200 check for the Reserve.
Thank you to all our Pioneers around the state for your continued good work in our communities!
