Providing relief in the aftermath of natural disasters

In an emergency – or a natural disaster – we all need people we can count on.

Our team of AT&T professionals once again is going the extra mile to help keep people connected in times of trouble. Whether it is flood relief in Illinois, or our response to hurricanes and earthquakes, we work to do our best when conditions are the worst.

I hope you’ll take a moment to learn more about these important efforts from the people of AT&T.

Sincerely,

Paul La Schiazza

AT&T supports flood relief effort in Lake and McHenry Counties

AT&T is contributing $5,000 to Team Rubicon and $5,000 to the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois for their flood relief efforts associated with the June 2017 floods, which affected Lake & McHenry counties.

"AT&T is committed to investing in the communities where our customers and employees live and work," said AT&T Illinois President Paul La Schiazza. "The people of Team Rubicon and the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois are making a difference in the lives of flood victims, and that's why we are making a contribution of $5,000 to both of these good organizations who are helping people in need."

Local elected officials acknowledged the importance of citizens having a place to turn when they need help following natural disasters.

"In times of need and desperation, people need help they can count on" said State Sen. Melinda Bush. "By making a contribution to Team Rubicon and the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois, AT&T is helping provide relief to flood victims in our corner of Illinois. We appreciate their commitment to helping Lake County residents rebuild after last month’s floods."
