Brad McLean is president of AT&T Ohio with responsibility for AT&T’s public policy, philanthropy and community relations initiatives throughout Ohio.
A native of Midway, Kentucky, McLean joined AT&T in 2012 as a manager of External Affairs for AT&T Kentucky. He went on to become director of External and Legislative Affairs for AT&T Kentucky, and later for AT&T Ohio. Prior to being named president, McLean was the assistant vice president of External Affairs for AT&T Ohio, leading the company’s efforts at the State Capitol.
Brad began his career as the head of a boutique government relations firm based in Frankfort, Kentucky. In that role Brad managed over 20 clients including serving as the executive director for several trade associations. Over his 12-year career in public policy and external affairs, Brad has been afforded the unique opportunity to lead legislative campaigns and strategically coordinate teams on significant public policy initiatives.
Brad is an undergraduate of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Morehead State University. He is a member of the board of directors of The First Tee of Central Ohio, a nonprofit whose mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
Brad and his family moved to Ohio in 2016 and live in Upper Arlington.
